Reports to: Vice President - Loan Operations Manager


Supervises:  (2) Loan Administration Associates


Status: Exempt


Summary: The Loan Administrator Senior Associate is responsible for providing day to day assistance to the Loan Administration Department in providing excellent customer service to Lenders, Assistants and external customers.  This position works hand in hand with the Loan Administration Manager and Loan Administration Officer.   


Job Requirements:

  • Strong Commercial lending closing and documentation experience; Strong Consumer lending and documentation experience (TRID compliant)
  • Knowledge of participation loans; charge offs; Non Accrual accounting; troubled assets.
  • 5 years of Loan Administration experience and 5 years of customer contact experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented, reliable and able to work under pressure and possess exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Keyboard 35 wpm accurately, 10 Key, PC proficiency, working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Excel
  • Preferred: Accounting, Math or related field. 5 years of financial institution experience and 5 years back office or clerical experience. Intermediate user in Microsoft Suite and Excel. Experience in PPdocs and LaserPro Loan Platform preferred; Knowledge of Sageworks a plus.


Specific Job Functions:

  • Commercial loans: Conditioning, document preparation, setting up exceptions
  • Review of consumer loan documentation (as needed) to ensure the documents are in compliance with the Bank's policy and all Regulations
  • Review of TRID early disclosures (as needed )
  • Process payments, draws, advances, research problems with loans
  • Approve funding of Commercial and Consumer loans using signed loan documents and checklist
  • Assist with other functions and special projects when required, ie. FHLB download; audit requests; second review of loan documents.
  • Assist with Appraisal and Appraisal Review order; paying invoices
  • Activate force place hazard insurance for mortgage loans that are lacking proper coverage.
  • Work emails from distribution group-Requests from branches; Wire payments
