Job Title:

Customer Service Representative

 

Summary:

The Customer Service Representative delivers high quality service to new and existing bank customers via telephone. The primary role will be to manage incoming calls and provide information in response to customer account inquiries.

 

Wage Type:

Hourly, Non-Exempt

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with routine account related requests which include but not limited to: Properly verify customer identity, funds transfers, automatic funds transfers, stop payments, service charges, ATM inquiries, debit card usage and limits, account transactions, funds availability, balance inquiries, check orders, and account reconciliation
  • Research and problem resolution when customer needs arise
  • Act as a liaison between other banks or companies on behalf of the customer when necessary
  • Initiate or direct to the correct associate for Reg E disputes, including completion of documents and affidavits in accordance with the banks policy
  • Update the system and customer accounts with messages
  • Input, maintain, reissue, and delete customer ATM and Debit Cards
  • Transfer funds to cover customer overdrafts as directed by Bank Operations
  • Email and mail necessary customer forms
  • Provide assistance through our online banking enrollment and processes
  • Cross sell bank products and services based on customer needs in accordance with bank standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to bank Core Values
  • Assist Deposit Operations Department when needed

 

Reports to: Deposit Operations Manager

                       

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalency
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • General banking experience preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
  • High leveled problem solving
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer applications
